Use of a credit card for payment change

This message is for all of the members who pay online and those that may decide to. We are sure most of you don’t even realize that there is a fee charged by our credit card processing company (in our case PayPal) for paying with a credit card. Currently, the membership Treasury has been picking up those fees. As more  ladies are using credit cards, it has become necessary for us  to implement charging a fee to supplement the budgeted dollar amount allocated for fees. This is becoming a more commonplace action taken by many organizations and retailers.

This is still a very good option for Niners to pay for their membership renewal and events and an easier and simpler method for our Treasurer and the volunteer who manages the event signups.

For members using a credit card for their membership application, the fee will be $3.00 and for social members it will $1.00. When using your credit card to pay for events such as scrambles or winter activities the fee is  a $1.00.
