Our second Niners’ scramble is coming up on Tuesday, July 7. We are preparing to have some fun at a day titled Flamingo Swing. You can have fun with the theme by wearing a flamingo print or some pink clothing as a tribute to those lovely sub tropical birds. Just like in nature, all shades of pink work!
We will be playing a scramble with a shotgun start at 9 am. Check in starts at 8 am. There will be a longest drive contest with a twist on one of the holes, and everyone can try chipping into the flamingo pool at the luncheon. Cash prizes will be awarded for these two games.
The Luncheon will be a buffet with fried or baked chicken, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, biscuits and dessert. We will have lemonade and iced tea for the thirsty golfers coming in from a summer round.
The sign-up book is in the Charbonneau Pro-shop or you can sign up and pay online at ladiesninersgolf.com Sign up in the book or online, not both. The cost for golf is $28 for those who do not have a Charbonneau Golf Club Membership. Lunch is $24. If you are paying by check, make sure that it is made out to The Charbonneau Ladies 9-Hole Golfers. You may participate in the golf only, however, you are encouraged to come to the luncheon even if you choose to not to partake in the food.
Social members are warmly invited and encouraged to attend the scramble luncheons, and can help out with set up that morning or by helping with the raffle.
Don’t forget $1.00 to buy a Mulligan and a bit of cash for the raffle at lunch.
