At the Niner Hoppy Hour event, the Niners truly showed their generosity and giving spirit. In this time of food insecurity and SNAP changes, the suggestion was made to collect monies for the Wilsonville Food Bank at this event. The Niners came through. We donated $535 to the Charbonneau Community Fund. This is a non-profit fund that began a few years ago to help the community in many ways. For this situation, Dave Mauk, a key person with the fund, said the the monies we gave to the fund is earmarked for the food bank and will be matched by them through an anonymous donor to the Charbonneau Community Fund.
