The Niners have been given an opportunity to donate golf clubs or bags for a new high school, Riverside. The school would like to start a golf program, but have insufficient funding. Items can be dropped off at my house (Cathy), 32321 SW Lake Drive or I can meet you at the clubhouse to get them or I will pick them up at your location.
The Niners are a co-sponsor of this dinner. It provides scholarships for our seasonal golf club workers who also attend school and use their summer break to work to help with college expenses. Our friend and fellow Niner has passed away. Marsha Herron was an active and dedicated Niner. Soon after she joined she volunteered to be our Handicap Chair and a Board Member. She will be missed.
